PBSA Cruise to Westbrook Connecticut

For Sail and Power Boat Cruisers

August 3-5, 2012

Pilot's Point Marina is a Brewer yard located on fifty acres in Westbrook, Ct. The twelve slips we have reserved are in-front of their restaurant just as you come into the marina from the Sound. Additional slips are available as needed but not as close to the restaurant. The dock-master can be reached at PPMDOCKOFFICE@BYY.COM

Marina phone # is 860 399-7906.  It has pools, bbqs and other amenities.

Westbrook has other restaurants and shopping (Tanger),  courtesy van is available. The marina is on the sound in a more residential area with sound front beaches. If you go the Brewers site www.BYY.com info is available. Probably a good place to bring an inflatable, creeks and shore front are interesting.

After a reservation is made, please email Bill Coster so we can keep track the the number of participants. Marina can also be reached from the Orient New London Ferry for members and friends taking cars. There are not that many B&Bs in the area so it would be wise to book early.

We visited Westbrook Inn 800 342-3162 www.westbrookinn.com at 976 Boston Post Rd. Westbrook, Ct 06498 and it looked good. You would need a car or courtesy van to get to the marina from there. Too long of a walk.
