The OCYC/PBSA race, the Fisher Cup, will be run this Saturday, August 28th, with a first warning at 1pm.
Winds should be out of the east, or slightly south of east, and in the teens. Nice!
Tide will be inbound throughout the race, starting to flood at 11am and maxing at 1.15pm shortly after race start. There should be very limited wind-against-tide action out there in the races, or around R20/R22.

Everyone should have a working VHF on board.
After the race, there will be a get-together at the Old Cove YC on Old Harbor Lane, and (of course) Saturday is also the Cutchogue Fire Department Chicken Barbecue!! (Take-out only, between 4pm and 8pm - - limit 2000!!)
